Pub and bar WiFi marketing

Quiz night is Thursday. Tell the people who were in last week.

Your regulars already use the WiFi to check the scores. Put a login page in front of it and you can tell them about the quiz, the live match and the new guest ale, without paying for a single ad.

The opportunity

Social posts reach strangers. Email reaches the people who drink with you.

A post about Thursday’s quiz goes to whoever the algorithm picks. An email goes to people who have stood at your bar.

Getting those addresses is the hard part, and the WiFi does it for you. Free internet in, a name and an email out, with consent recorded properly so you can actually use it.

What to set up

What pubs get the most out of

A code on the board

Prefer not to ask for emails at all? Chalk a code on the board and change it weekly.

Event nights

Quiz, live sport, open mic. Send the reminder to opted-in guests the day before.

The seasonal look

A Christmas page in December and a summer one for beer-garden season, switching on their own.

A first-pint offer

Welcome email with a code for the bar, sent the moment a new guest confirms.

Best plan for this: Plus. You need the customer list and campaigns to promote nights to past visitors.

Questions

The things people ask first

Something else? Ask us.

How do I get people to sign up?
Tell them what they get. “Free WiFi and the quiz answers sheet a day early” beats a bare form. Then make sure the welcome email actually arrives.
Can I use a code instead of a form?
Yes. Put a code on the board behind the bar, with an expiry or usage limit if you want one.
What should I send?
Things people already come in for: quiz nights, live sport, the Sunday roast, a new guest ale. Short, local and not every day.

See it on your own WiFi.

Book a demo and we will walk you through a login page in your colours. Bring your UniFi questions. There is no contract to sign on the call.
